It may seem easier, at first, for people to be thankful only when events in the world appear to be calmly under ‘our’ control, but since that is never really the case (not even for world leaders), it is wiser to realise that CS Lewis was right when he wrote: “Once in our world, a stable had something in it that was bigger than our whole world.”
Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them!
